The RIASEC model, created by Dr. John Holland, is the gold standard in vocational psychology. It posits that both people and work environments can be classified into six distinct types. When your personality type matches your work environment, you achieve higher job satisfaction and success.

Here is a closer look at the six dimensions measured in our RIASEC test:

• Realistic (R): You prefer working with things rather than people or ideas. You value practical, hands-on solutions. Example careers: Engineer, Mechanic, Architect.
• Investigative (I): You are a natural researcher. You prefer working with ideas and concepts, seeking to understand the "why" behind complex systems. Example careers: Data Scientist, Psychologist, Software Developer.
• Artistic (A): You value self-expression and avoid highly structured environments. You prefer creative, original work. Example careers: Graphic Designer, Writer, UX/UI Designer.
• Social (S): You are driven by a desire to help others. You excel in collaborative environments focused on teaching, healing, or mentoring. Example careers: Teacher, Nurse, HR Manager.
• Enterprising (E): You are a persuader and a leader. You enjoy taking risks, managing teams, and driving business goals. Example careers: Sales Director, Entrepreneur, Marketing Manager.
• Conventional (C): You thrive on order and accuracy. You prefer structured environments where you can organize data and optimize processes. Example careers: Accountant, Financial Analyst, Operations Manager.
